Converse, a Reverse Video
Artist Statement
For this project I thought I would try to challenge myself, and I certainly did just that. After a couple hours my brother and I finally got just the right amount of footage for this short story. I chose to put a different spin on the reverse video by filming all it in reverse to make it look normal. However, to my suspicion it still looked very, very weird but I still enjoy it and I hope you do to. My intention with this project was to show how the world looks when you reverse it... even if it is already going backwards.

Going For A Walk
Artist Statement
For this project I chose to put a camera on my Great Dane named Clementine and take her for a walk. The purpose of this was to give more of a unique perspective to animals some of us see everyday. In other words, see the world how they see it. For me this was an exciting project because not many people decide to film or document their pets this way and I wanted to see how it looked. I hope this has an influence on the viewer to show that other animals in this world may see things very differently than we do.

Before and After
When editing this photo of a sunset I changed many of its assets; starting by increasing the temperature, contrast, tint, shadows, clarity, saturation and blacks. Then decreasing the highlights, whites, orange hue, and the shadows in tone curve. Lastly, I did some vignetting around the midpoints to make it a little darker.
With this photo I started by turning up the temperature, shadows, saturation, highlights, and darks. After that I turned down the tint, exposure, contrast, highlights, and lights. The last thing I did editing this photo was increasing the hue of blue by 40 and decreasing the hue of purple by 100.
I started by decreasing the temp and tint by the same amount then increasing the exposure and contrast. After that I brought down the highlights, vibrance, lights, and shadows(tone curve). However, I dramatically increased the shadows in the basic dropdown menu; along with slight boost in whites, clarity, saturation, highlights, and darks. To boost the pop of the backdrop I also increased the green hue. Additionally I used vignetting to lighten the midpoints; then my last change made was greatly decreasing the tint of the shadows.
This photo underwent great amounts of editing. I cropped the image, used the radial filter, and added some vignetting. Additionally, I decreased whites, highlights, red primary, and green primary. While increasing exposure, temperature, tint, shadows, and blue primary.
During post production of this photo, I only changed some basic aspects of it to improve quality. What aspects of it I increased were temperature, tint, clarity, a little bit of blue and an even smaller amount of the shadows. On the other hand, I decreased exposure, whites, blacks, contrast, and the magenta.
